It's in her blood...Kenyan blood! She's on her way to winning marathons.....
It was a tough race for us. Tara was having hip problems the whole time. I was just plain tired. I kept telling her to leave me, but she wouldn't. I think I handled the hills okay. Maybe the elevation got to me......or lack of good sleep the entire week before. We were so happy to see the end! The temperature was perfect--nice and overcast and in the 60's and 70's. We might try another 1/2 in November. I better get my training on.
